This project was fun! When you are dealing with a slab of oak that is 19 feet long, 8 inches thick and 30 inches tall, it is always a challenge to get it set back into the existing masonry columns. We found a mill to fabricate the large piece of oak, then added the aluminum cap, lettering and some nice solar lighting to give it a little glow at night time.
