This project was a demo and install project. First we had to remove the plaster and lathe from the ceiling, sister on some dummy joists to get the ceiling on a consistent plane, then we installed 5/8″ drywall, finished it and added some crown molding that the owner picked out. The owner decided to strip the wallpaper and do the painting to keep costs lower.
